Strong Heart Equine Rescue's purpose is a dedication to the rescue of abused, neglected, and abandoned equine; and to help rehabilitate those that can be adopted out to loving homes and to provide permanent home for those who are disabled. In support of these of these efforts, SHER
seeks to increase beneficial human and equine relationships through human/animal interaction.

At Strong Heart Equine Rescue, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Equine rescue and care is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Veterans & First Responder Equine Program

Helping The Community

Strong Heart Equine Rescue, aims to build a supportive and engaging community for veterans & 1st responders. Starting with a groundwork-focused equine assisted learning program. During the equine program veterans & 1st responders will work with mustangs, burros or domesticated horses.

Contribute

All donations - big, small and in-between - make a significant impact on our ability to continue to rescue horses and run our veteran program. Our average monthly cost to maintain a single horse is $200
